David Evans
David Evans is a field recordist and musician from Melbourne. His previous works include ‘Transitions’, released on 3LEAVES (Hungary, 2015) and made from what Evans calls ‘urban field recordings’, being fragments of sound from everyday life; and ‘Domestic Cinema’, released on New Weird Australia (Sydney, 2013), which was composed from field recordings of archaic equipment at Melbourne’s Telecommunications Museum, household and everyday sounds, typewriter and drumkit.
