David Greenhalgh

David Greenhalgh’s artistic practice is informed by the human impulse towards creating narratives in a world that, to the best of our knowledge, is without inherent meaning. In engaging with filmic narrative, his work attempts to blur the line between fact and fiction through the use of audio/visual collage. The intent is to create a space inhabited by both reality and the mind’s fallibility where the most desirable trait can be fostered in the viewer: a mistrust in the notion of truth. The main impetus behind David’s artistic work is his written work, where his ideas are formulated (despite the general mistrust he has in words).
