Gerald Machona is a Zimbabwean born Visual artist practicing in South Africa. He has a Masters Degree in Fine Art (MFA) from Rhodes University and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Art from the University of Cape Town. Machona’s current work engages with issues of African migration and diaspora, social interaction and xenophobia on the continent. He is represented by Goodman Gallery and has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Johannesburg, Switzerland and Berlin.
