TnA are rumoured to be identical twins, born from the unholy union of avant gardism and soft porn. Their mother was the long forgotten Russian Constructivist industrial designer Olga Olgavich, who escaped from a Stalinist Gulag after 30 years imprisonment, concealed in a barrel of triple distilled vodka being smuggled into the West. The barrel (and Olga) were snatched by Yugoslavian bandits and sold to the Tito era soft-porn Titan, Zorin Zorinich, who impregnated Olga but died of a heart-attack during coitus. Home-schooled in philosophy by the indomitable Olga, and sheltered from all advancements in art since the 1930s, the twins are Melbourne’s most under-recognised outsider artists, valiantly attempting to make all their art out of gaffer tape, disused cardboard boxes, and one tube of white paint. After attempting to sell their art on the streets since their early teens, they have finally raised enough money for their first show in an established art gallery.
