BOOK LAUNCH Speech Patterns: Nadia Hernández and Jon Campbell

15 November 2022–15 November 2022

Yes hello; we got us a book launch.
And it’s for the book Speech Patterns: Nadia Hernández and Jon Campbell.
Both artists will be present.
Nadia, Jon.
The writers will be present.
Lisa Radford, Diego Ramírez, Robert Cook.
The designer will be present.
Stuart Geddes.
All present, like we said, but not mindfully so.
Come rub shoulders and be distractable.
It’s at KINGS ARI.
It’s a launch, not a lunch, so it’s on between 6pm and 8pm.
That’s two whole hours.
If you stay the whole time there’ll be:
awkward mingling
a drink/s
less awkward mingling
art stuff
rubbing shoulders
a really short speech
that might* involve some kind of screamo thing
live music and spoken word
being distractable
convivial-seeming Instagram story moments
a feeling that something’s been launched
oh the book!
AGWA produced it for the show of the same name.
and now the centre has come to the periphery.
to share the fuck yeahs.

*probably won’t tho.
