I Know A Place concerns the attempt to conjure gestural moments using the material vocabulary of Minimalist, and post-Minimalist art; the physical footprint of mass-made material, inverted and sublimated, to create forms and moments with organic allusion.
This work is an improvised assemblage of materials commonly associated with construction of interior domestic space, repurposed and cast, to behave symbolically amid unresolved figurative scenes.
