“There is another world and it is this one.”

These works explore the intermediary zone where artist, work and technologies/media come together.
I am standing in the private space of my cluttered studio just as I find myself holding my VR equipment. I am standing motionless forever poised in endeavour interruptus.
It is not really me though, but a model of me melded with my private studio landscape and it is not really a model, but a series of photographic images technologically combined, to create a sort of three-dimensional replica. I say sort of because what has shown up is that my resemblance to this forever-stander appears dubious at best.
To my surprise, I am half swallowed by a blob of mysterious origin. Should I welcome this horror as it disrupts this studio world? Does the blob invite me to a new world that existed anyway?
