Alex Gibson

Alex Gibson is an award winning visual artist with 15 years experience exhibiting in Australia and Asia. He has completed a Masters of Fine Art (research), and a Bachelor of Fine Art (drawing) with first class honors at the Victorian College of the Arts, Melbourne University (2002 – 2008). He is a recipient of the prestigious Australian postgraduate award (2007). Alex has created 11 solo exhibitions and 30 group Exhibitions. He has completed 2 international residencies in Tokyo (2005) and Beijing (2012). He currently has a studio residency at Cozens Street Studio and most recently showed his work at White Night Melbourne. Alex is showing at KINGS in Melbourne in July, and is working on two commissions for 1 Martin Place, Sydney.
