Clare Longley
Clare Longley graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Victorian College of the Arts in 2014. Primarily working with installation, textiles, painting and poetry, Longley’s work is occupied with the seductive relationships between private and public, real and fiction. With lines traced and feelings kindled, aspects of everyday befriend intimate and evocative imagery, creating an unnerving ambiguity and timidity of touch. Her work reminds us of being human and having senses, yet they are unconscious, strange, unmediated and naïve. – www.clarelongley.com
