Turned In – July 2017

Marko Radosavljevic

08 July 2017–29 July 2017

Using a selection of ambient-metaphors of everyday urban life, Marko Radosavljevic’s Turned In – July 2017 continues his research and experimentation in spatial cognition and The Politics of Culture.

Motivated to demonstrate (through subversive means and propaganda aesthetics) the potential to promote positive social and political ideas, Turned In – July 2017 looks at the contradictions between public forums and private whispers made in an individual’s value system; private citizen to voter, individual to shareholder, pervert to prude.

The references for these works are less about our relationship with contemporary art, but derived from common everyday spaces and the sentiments grown within these environments.
