Opening

Several couples wearing GoPros on their heads are asked to kiss for an unspecified amount of time. Instead of watching a kissing couple, the viewer stands within the kissing couple’s abstracted environment – almost as if they themselves are one half of the kissing couple.

  • Ella Sowinska is a Melbourne based artist who graduated with an Honours Degree in Fine Art from MADA at Monash University in 2013. Recent solo exhibitions include Real Estate (Underwear Hunt) at Platform Contemporary Art Spaces and The One on One at Seventh Gallery. Ella exhibited in the 2013 Mildura Palimpsest Biennial.
