Talia Smith

Talia Smith is an artist and curator from Aotearoa and now based in Warrang, Sydney. She is of Cook Island, Samoan and NZ European heritage. Her photographic and video practice examine notions of time, memory and ruin. She has exhibited and curated widely in Australia, New Zealand and internationally. She has completed residencies in Frankfurt, Germany and at Bundanon Trust and was the founder and co-director of Cold Cuts Project Space (2017-19) and the chair of Runway Journal (2017-18). In 2020 Smith completed her Masters of Fine Arts (Research) at UNSW.
