Nadia Niaz

Nadia Niaz is a writer, editor and academic ‘from’ Melbourne via Pakistan and many other places. She has a PhD in Creative Writing and Cultural studies and teaches poetry and creative writing to everyone from pre-schoolers to postgraduates. She’s a member of the West Writers Group and the founder of the Australian Multilingual Writing Project, which provides a space for local multilingual creative expression. She writes and performs poetry that explores all aspects of identity, belonging, and language. Her most recent work can be found in The Polyglot, Not Very Quiet, Rabbit, and Peril.
