14 September 2023–07 October 2023

This video supported by Richmond Library Residency was made from 2022–2023. This video documents my experience in the dark psychological space, tracing my childhood, and eating on humor. I am grateful for all the people who have reminded me of life. Inserting songs Back to Life by Mother Mother, and Kiss of Death by IC3PEAK. I love a good cult feeling and a clear mind.

See the exhibition room sheet here.

STRAY VOLTAGE presents a discursive program of critically engaged moving image works focusing on experimental narrative-driven practices, led by Katie Paine and Aaron Rees.

  • Yundi Wang makes moving images from self-collected footage (largely). She is interested in morality and perspectives. Although manipulation can be fun and challenging, she is more driven by seeing things as what it is. You can contact her via email at Lydiafromouterspace@gmail.com
