Tessa-May Chung

Tessa-May is a driven producer and director based in Naarm/Melbourne, with a passion for immersive visual storytelling. They graduated with a Bachelor of Media and Communications (hons.) from RMIT, with a specialisation in cinema studies and photography, then experimental art and culture studies.

Driven by personal experiences, Tessa draws inspiration from their life as a womxn of color growing up in Australia, seeking to unravel the complexities of identity and culture through their projects. Beyond their own stories, they are passionately dedicated to creating spaces and platforms for underrepresented voices, advocating for diversity and inclusivity.

As an aspiring producer and director, their mission is to amplify marginalized voices and pave the way for new, authentic narratives to be heard and seen.
