The Turning Point

Camille Chapman

09 April 2026–03 May 2026

The Turning Point, referring to its screenwriting term, is a video work that looks to interrogate historical depictions of queerness in mainstream film. Bringing together a collection of ‘reaction shots’, The Turning Point dissects the structures involved in making moving images to illuminate film making as a production of decisions which can be further scrutinised.
