Georgia Hayward

Georgia Hayward [she/her] is an artist, curator and writer of Mardigan and Anglo-Celtic descent. Her practice investigates the systems and infrastructures through which space, identity and collective life are organised. Working across social, spatial and digital forms, she considers the urban environment as both subject and substrate, examining how civic space is constructed, governed and contested, and how these structures shape contemporary social relations.
Her work is interested in the relationships between bodies, land, technology and power, and in the possibilities for reimagining the systems through which we live together. Through artistic and curatorial projects, Hayward engages with polyphonic readings of place, foregrounding multiple forms of knowledge and experience.
